How To Wear A Dress And Boots – The Boho Chic Way

The dress and boots combi has never been a more relevant style trick than now. Maxi dresses, boho dresses and floral dresses are my favorite items at the moment. But I don’t want to wear them with heels all the time.

The Dress & Boots Combo

There isn’t another style combi I love more at the moment than matching a girly dress with biker boots. They bring out that perfect balance between feminine and tough which results in the ultimate cool look.

The Boho Chic contrast

This effect comes out best when the dress or skirt is extra sexy or romantic. Think: silk dresses/skirts, floral ruffled dresses or playful wrap dresses. Matching this with tough booties creates the perfect outfit vibe that I am currently obsessed with. This will get you a modern version of the boho chic look. It’s all about the balancing act.

Pick your booty  bootie

The best thing about this look is that you can vary between different types of dresses. But also between different types of booties! Biker boots like dr. Martens are the ultimate boot to create this look with. I especially prefer the platform type because it exaggerates the contrast with the flirty and girly dress. To mix it up you can also match your maxi dress or floral dress with cowboy boots. They also create that tough balance with girly dresses and skirts.
